Some Pointers on How to Pick a Good Teacher!
So you feel you've got a good foundation and now you feel it's time for a proper teacher! But how does one tell if the teacher is: Fair, knowledgeable, kind, powerful, good at teaching people, etc...! Mostly one just uses their good senses, but I Can provide you with my experiences of what not to do!
I have had two very awful teachers, they were both very different from each-other in every way, and One current good teacher! But as most people gravitate to what they shouldn't do first, let's explore the bad teachers before the good one! For starters, (and I missed this lesson) if your soon to be teacher starts bragging how they've magically destroyed/killed other people before, with or with out cause, probably not a smart move to shack up with him/her. Now one might say, "But hey, isn't that obvious?" NO, it's not. Some people might talk them selves into by saying, "We'll the teacher says he is powerful, and I want power, so he has alot to teach me!" Mostly, wrong, my friend. I can speak from personal experience that, the kinda person who would say that will probably try to destroy you in the end. People who feel they have absolute power or who are seeking such power, do not share or take kindly to a challenge of their power. Now that does not mean that anyone who says they've destroyed enemies, is bad but I'm talking about people who brag about killing others with magic. My first teacher would brag about how many people he has killed. That's more what I was talking about.
I stupidly thought that I could learn from such a person, and he tried to kill me, in the end, unjustifiably, and with out provocation. I was a good student to him, even thought I was his friend. But I was wrong. Evil, is evil, there is no way to get around it, and evil will ALWAYS turn on you. I consider my self an intelligent person, but I made that mistake so easily it was scary. One can talk them selves into all kinds of stupid situations, regardless of intelligence, or that little voice in your head telling you this probably isn't a great idea!
Most evil people like to brag, it's really a down fall for them selves. If they are super cocky, and evil, they will probably, tell you almost to a tee, to your face, how they will destroy you in the end. My first former teacher did just that. He would go on and on about how he cares for no one but blood, and he still fucked over his own family. How even kids were toys he used to hurt his targets with. Meaning, he'd curse an innocent five year old, if it would get him the results with the target he wanted. Although, he did hesitate to curse children, he has and still would do it. He said, and this is ironic, that he believed in Jesus, and Jesus has a special place in his heart for children, which is the only check in his actions. He would say that he would be buddy-buddy, with the target, and even if the target figured out it was him, he would lie right to their face, Etc. He told me, while, laughing about it, enough for any smart person to figure out that this guy was a snake, and was not to be trusted.
But I felt, that he was my friend and trusted teacher, and that famous saying, "But he wouldn't do that to me!" Every one's last words, unfortunately. They were almost mine. He DID try to Kill me, but luckily I am still somehow here. I do thank The Sacred Source, and all of the White Light Beings I honor, for my Life! Trust me when I say, if they did something awful to someone else, why not you too!
My second teacher was a scam artist. He caught me at a time when I was most desperate and scared about my first teacher trying to kill me. He could smell the fear on my like a rabid dog and took full advantage of it. Rule number one, Never let anyone know how desperate and scared you are! Try to give off airs, that you don't Need their teachings, you Want them, and you could take em or leave em kinda attitude. Teachers should be seeking out students, not chasing after them, but looking for potentials to pass on their information to. It should not be that you have to chase after your teacher and beg them to teach you. That means that the teacher is not humble enough, and not worth your time.
My second teacher was so full of him self, he could fly to Mars and back on his hot shit airs. He was the type to talk endlessly about him self, and get pissed if you in turn even talked for five seconds about your self. He proclaimed to of had, all of these enlightenment experiences, yet he had more mental issues, than a schizophrenic hears voices. His anger was explosive, and undirected at anything worth getting angry at. He was a skinny, older male, who because he was puny, felt he needed to flex his magical muscles, to make up for his puny physical ones. Here is the rub, he preached about peace, love and Jesus, but he played dirty behind the scenes. Here is another lesson, if a teacher who is supposed to be teaching you about magic, discourages you from protecting your self, or asks you to report back to them and get approval from them before you cast a spell.....probably not a good teacher! Because, from my experience, they are trying to control you and are paranoid about what you are doing. They are paranoid, probably because they are working on you and want to make sure you are not capable or are not working on them as well.
I've never heard of anyone talking about them selves as much as that man, while proclaiming how humble, and non conceited he was. What a joke. He tried to tell me that reversal candles were evil. I just want to state that if ANY teacher tells you that, Walk away quickly and quietly. Reversal candles are simply reversing back to the sender, that which they sent to you. It is totally white light, and completely justified. It's like saying, "Don't reflect back or punch the guy back who won't stop hitting you, so he will know, that you do fight back." That guy will keep hitting you till you hit him back. It's just the law of the bully, until they feel that you can be a threat, they will never stop hurting you. And if you hit them back with nothing more than what they sent at you, your soul is clean.
