So What do You do with a Cauldron?

For starters,  DO NOT JUST USE IT AS AN INCENSE BURNER!!!!!   Sorry, I'm still angry about that.  Anyways, one probably won't find this info in any book....so you can throw away the idea of fact cking me because I have over 8 years of experience  practicing magic!  When I first started there was practically NO info on how to work with a cauldron. ..I would have loved to have found out this info back then...it would have saved me alot of time, trial and error!

I had to figure this out for my self!  And little bits I had gleaned from others on magic forums.   So here we go....The first and most basic thing you can do with your cauldron is make a mini fire in it for a ritual or spell.  Unless it is cast-iron or metal...maybe stone...but I wouldn't do this in a clay pot and depending on how hot you get it and how long it burns for...I would probably not suggest stone in the end....it might crack or break!  This is also where a lid comes in handy as well.  You can use nine different sticks from trees whom associations you've chosen to work with.  You could do a spell to banish something...destroy something or someone...break a llink to something or someone ...light a love fire...the possibilities are only limited by you.

My personal favorite way to work my cauldron ....is to write up a petition paper put my herbs and curios in it....fold it appropriately. ..put it in the bottom of the pot...fix my candle...words...oils and more herbs...and melt the bottom of the candle to the top of the center of the packet so that it stands up on its own....say my prayers and light it...vola very powerful candle magic!  This method is how I do most of my works!

I don't know why it took me years to figure that out. ..I guess like so many beginners, I didn't feel I knew enough to just branch out on my own...or I didn't want to cross the line of traditional. ..or the book didnt say to do it that way.  Either way, when I first started...the books said,  "Hey, you need a cauldron. ..and the only things we are going to tell you about it is that witches use them...to brew those witchy brews...lol...and to burn a fire in it....oh and its the element of water and the goddess. "   Thats all the info I could find.  And I was poor, so if I had to/I wanted to get one...I needed to learn how to use it properly!   So I dedicated my self to studying the tool, not the shitty books, ....asking other practitioners questions and trial by fire and I figured it out on my own....

I feel like I've just given you the answers to a test that I studied for...but it will save you the time and frustration it took me and maybe you'll blossom better for it!  Goodluck!
